- One day a sneeze frees in the air a group of droplets, forced until then to live locked in the narrow and dark nose of a child. Happy and compact, the droplets start in the exploration of the world and end up in a library. The droplet Matilde takes under her protection the shy and fearful Plin. The disappointment comes soon: she discovers that in that library the volumes do nothing but quarrel from morning to night. But when the droplets contaminate them with a powerful cold and the library is quarantined, the books will begin to feel lonely, to recognize each other’s merits and the importance of being read to feel alive.
